Katie & Anthony

They do say that rain on your wedding day makes for good luck and if that’s the case, Katie and Anthony should be all set for their married life together! This past Saturday did bring lots of rain, but it also brought plenty of smiles and laughs! I began by capturing the getting ready stages at the Radison before we were picked up by limo and headed to Sunset Church. With a lovely ceremony complete and “I do’s” exchanged, we headed downtown to attempt some portraits in the rain. After a stop by the Crowne Plaza for a few more photos, we made our way back to the Kingswood lodge where a wonderful reception awaited our newlyweds. Some wonderful speeches led to some beautiful dances which kicked off the party. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

Jill & Steve

A very chilly fall evening (and let’s be honest, is it even fall anymore??) at Killarney lake served as the setting on which to capture Jill and Steve. The cold couldn’t chill the spirits of these two however, and out shoot was full of so many smiles and jokes! It’s rare to see signs of fall mixed with the first snow of the season, but I think it photographed wonderfully. I’m very excited to capture these lovebirds’ wedding late next year!

Frances and Chris were all smiles last week when I met up with them in O’dell park for an engagement session! I had a wonderful time walking the park and getting to know these two lovebirds better. After exploring the park in all it’s fall beauty, we crossed the river to Carelton park to catch the sun setting over the river. We ended the session with a beautiful view plenty of lovely images! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding Frances and Chris!

A chilly Saint John day couldn’t hold back the warmth shared from a beautiful wedding, featuring Ariel and Steve! We began with a lovely first look at the Irving Nature Park. Though we faced strong winds and some rain, these two were all smiles! A lovely ceremony took place soon thereafter at Trinity Anglican Church. Uptown Saint John made for a wonderful spot for portraits! The newlyweds partied the night away at the SJ Trade and Convention Centre. Congratulations Airel and Steve!!

Andrea & Glen

Thatch Road Trail, between Fredericton and Oromocto, makes for a beautiful spot for some portraits in the fall! Last week I joined up with Andrea and Glen for just that, and we explored the area capturing their engagement photos. A beautifully still Saint John river greeted us after a walk through the trail which made for some gorgeous autumn images. I’ll be looking forward to working with these two again for their spring wedding!
